The FW-190 is the first airplane in the High Quality Scale (HQS) series, and is the first balsa model from Ultrafly. As soon as you open the box you’ll notice the plane’s excellent scale details, and you’ll be impressed at how securely the components go together. Incredible as it may seem, this fully covered balsa model will have an all-up weight of just 920 grams (2 pounds) when you equip it with the option parts recommended — that’s half the weight of a comparable glow-powered plane! Plus, we’ve left some room for expert builders to add their own special touches.
As usual, we have developed this model based on our new 250 watt F/12/10 motor; in the suggested configuration, it will pull 235 watts from the battery. That’s enough power for performing unlimited vertical — but the airfoil and wing loading also make this warbird capable of slow speed maneuvers as well.
